This role will suit an individual that can operate with a high degree of independence and has hands-on experience of proactively taking initiative to uncover insights from data. As a key member of our team, your role will go beyond merely generating reports; you will be expected to extract meaningful insights from data, enabling informed decision-making that drives our lending strategy. If you have a keen ability to decipher complex credit focused data sets and transform them into actionable insights that guide our decision making, we encourage you to apply for this position and help shape the future of SME lending. Some of the things you’ll be doing: Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Utilise advanced analytics to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets. Focus on analysing lending product performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations. Credit Risk Management: Monitor and optimise key performance indicators (KPIs) related to credit risk. Develop strategies to mitigate risk while supporting business growth. Collaboration with Credit Product Teams: Work closely with product managers and developers to inform and guide the development of new credit products. Use data-driven insights to influence product strategy and design. Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Clearly communicate findings and recommendations. Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and methodologies. Continuously seek ways to improve our data analysis processes and credit product offerings. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 4+ years of experience working as a credit focused analyst or data scientist at a fintech or bank. You have expert SQL proficiency and can navigate complex data warehouse relationships You are a self starter who takes initiative and can operate with a high degree of independence.
