We’re hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to build Synthesia’s presales function in France and Southern EMEA. This is a founding role: you’ll be one of the first SEs, shaping the playbook, tooling and best practices as we scale, not following an established model. As a Solutions Engineer at Synthesia, you will partner with Account Executives, Customer Success and Product Marketing to run discovery, deliver demos, scope POCs and design the technical solution for each deal. You will be a trusted advisor focused on the value customers get from Synthesia, and you’ll take what you learn in the field back to Product. This is an incredible opportunity to join us as we become a multi-product company for the first time, and continue to scale across France and Southern EMEA. If you’re someone who is excited and driven by building whilst scaling, we’d love to hear from you. Sales Cycle Ownership Coplan and execute discovery calls to understand customer requirements, their technical environment, and current business challenges. Design and deliver compelling demonstrations that solve customer problems, quantify the value of solving those problems, and tell a clear, credible story of how Synthesia solves them better than anything else. Understand and overcome technical objections and integration concerns; identify blockers early and develop solution paths with customers. Support stakeholder workshops that connect Synthesia to the buyer's broader technology strategy on complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Partner with Account Executives to define account and deal strategy, advise on competitive positioning, and provide your assessment of opportunity stage and forecast your book of business to leadership. Demo Excellence Design and execute repeatable Demo methodologies that prove Synthesia’s business value quickly, whether the customer is deploying Studio at scale, designing Roleplay Sessions for skill uplift, or integrating Interactive Avatars into their product. Identify, build relationships with, and actively empower executive champions within customer organizations so they can advocate for Synthesia internally. Develop and maintain reusable assets across demo environments, use cases, integration templates, objections, and industry playbooks brought to life directly in Synthesia’s platform. Support POC and pilot readouts as a business narrative, not a feature tour, learning to bring storytelling and executive presence to the room as you grow into more senior conversations. Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, API and SDK integrations, security, compliance topics (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise identity), and scalability for global deployments. Product & Industry Expertise Maintain deep expertise on Synthesia's platform capabilities across all product lines, roadmap, and positioning to highlight value driving use cases. Specific vertical knowledge, establishing credibility as a subject matter expert within an industry to easily build credibility and trust with executive buyers. Share customer and prospect product and competitive feedback to the pre-sales leadership and Product team; flag customer pain points, missing capabilities, and gaps that surface in live deals.
