## Description

To provide quality assurance for Securities Clearing Technology, across all its platforms, by the application of testing standards and approaches, and through the direction of test engineers. Test coordination of several teams across all test phases for all KTLO projects in LCH SE. Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: 1) Supervises a team, allocates tasks to team members and co-ordinate work of other team members to successfully implement the end-to-end testing in the software development life cycle 2) Manages and leads end-to-end testing delivery and activities in alignment with the organisation's quality standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs 3) Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy 4) Provides line management of a testing team of both technical and non-technical testers 5) Oversees the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time 6) Develops understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how quality and technology are a part of this 7) Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, growing own network and collaborating with other teams 8) Communicates complex / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent - ISTQB Core Advanced/Test Management Certified or equivalent - Exhibits Test Management and Line Management experience in manual, test automation or performance testing resources - Exhibits Test Management experience in entire software development life cycle, software quality assurance and one programming language, preferably in multi-tiered applications SKILLS AND PROFICIENCY Quality assurance Ensures a product/service meets or exceeds specified standards and objectives to achieve desired level of quality. Level 2 People management Leads and manages people, holding responsibility for motivation, attraction, retention and performance management. Level 2 Agile delivery Uses approaches to software development under which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self organising and cross-functional teams and their end user(s). Level 2 In-depth/breadth tech expertise In depth technical expertise, knowledge of technologies and design, development and implementation of technologies. Level 2 System and technology integration Possesses knowledge of features and facilities for integration, and communication among applications, databases and technology platforms to bring together different components and form a fully functional solution to a business problem. Level 2 Domain expertise Possesses technical knowledge of tools and trends within industry; stays current in possible future policies, practices, trends and information affecting prospects or customer businesses and their internal organisation; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace. Level 2 Commercial insight Utilises deep understanding of the commercial models and strategies that underpin the business, product or service the organisation provides to manage the function as a viable business entity.
