ABOUT THE TEAM We are looking for Senior Supplier Quality Engineers to help support our Intelligence Systems Team. These roles will be on the Quality Engineering Team and partner across the product development organization, production organization, and field operations organizations. This role will be dynamic and full of new engagement, challenges, and opportunities. ABOUT THE JOB As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high quality and reliable hardware for Intelligence Systems. We are building a team of subject matter experts, each bringing deep manufacturing knowledge in a specific commodity — castings and weldings, precision machined parts, or avionics and electronics such as PCBA/circuit cards, sensors, communication modules, and line replaceable units. This role focuses on collaborating and driving early engagement with our design teams and suppliers to meet our quality requirements the first time and to evaluate technologies to assist in the design for manufacturing assessment, supplier technology assessment/development, as well as supplier quality management. Everything comes down to clarity and action with our suppliers and partnering with them for world class results is essential across the supply chain. The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, supply management, supplier development, sub-system performance criteria and metrology, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU'LL DO Partner with our design teams to support the design development process, provide design for manufacturability feedback specific to your commodity, and help generate product data (drawing details, BOM information, and part requirements) that lead to supplier quality success. Bring deep expertise in your commodity's manufacturing processes and inspection/measurement methods to support the internal Anduril design process and ideation. Provide leadership to manage technical risks, proof of concepts, prototyping, and scaling designs for volume production. Drive the supplier quality development processes throughout the product development stages with the product engineering team through design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for components and sub-assemblies. Review supplier processes and capabilities to ensure alignment to requirements can be achieved. Partner with development engineering, product quality engineering, sourcing engineering, category management and program management to deliver predictable supply to development and production programs, and manage exceptions/containments/deviations for supplier technical performance, particularly in the development phases.
