## Description

The Sort Center Quality Senior Supply Chain Manager ultimately solves the questions of (1) how do we deliver world-class Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA) at our highest-volume Sort Center Hubs, (2) how do we drive systemic reduction in DEA misses across the NASC Central Hub network, and (3) how do we build durable quality mechanisms that scale as volume concentrates. Are you an experienced Business Operator with a strong work ethic? Do you enjoy solving complex operational quality problems? If yes, this opportunity will appeal to you. At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. The Sort Center Quality Supply Chain Manager works cross-functionally with NASC Operations, ACES, and Product/Tech teams to define quality goals, root cause defect drivers, and drive corrective actions at NASC Central Hubs. They maintain and report up-to-date and accurate performance statistics, management reports, and analysis, and facilitate the flow of quality signals between site Operations and central planning teams. The Sr. SCM provides timely resolution to issues by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions grounded in operational data. An ideal candidate acts as a single-threaded leader for end-to-end DEA quality workstreams, understands the operational context, notices trends, and drives Customer Experience improvements without compromising on speed, capacity, or cost. This role requires the ability to partner cross-functionally and to dive deep into large and complex operational datasets with strong SQL proficiency augmented by AI-leveraging capabilities to extract actionable insights from multi-dimensional Sort Center data. The successful candidate must demonstrate comfort working with enterprise-scale datasets to analyze DEA performance across the Hub network. Additionally, this position demands the ability to work cross-functionally across Operations, ACES, Product, Tech, and central planning teams to drive quick execution on defect reduction and accelerate decision-making in dynamic operational environments. In this position, you will at minimum: (a) own the DEA performance narrative for NASC Central Hubs, (b) identify defect trends and root causes and translate them into corrective action plans with site leadership and functional owners, (c) build scalable quality mechanisms that maintain performance through high-volume events, and (d) establish continuous improvement frameworks in partnership with operations teams to drive feedback loops and process optimization. This position requires the ability to program manage multiple workstreams across various NASC functions. This role is high-visibility, with regular interaction with senior leadership and involvement in critical operational decisions. Finally, this position will help develop sustainable, standard mechanisms and processes to drive further automation. Key job responsibilities -Work with partner teams across Operations, ACES, and Product/Tech to close DEA gaps at NASC Central Hubs -Leverage historical data to build forward-looking quality models and identify improvement opportunities -Utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges -Own and report DEA performance for NASC Central Hubs to senior-leadership audiences -Collaborate with Operations leadership to drive site-level quality improvements -Improve defect attribution accuracy and drive upstream defect prevention -Present data-driven proposals and plans to Sr. Leadership A day in the life The Sort Center Quality Sr. SCM operates in a fast-moving operational environment. We're building the NASC-side quality function that connects defect signals to operational action, so this person will balance between big thinking and tactical execution. This will require direct analyses and partnering with stakeholders across Amazon. About the team Our team owns quality performance across the NASC network.
