Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > Service With nearly 7 GW of wind turbines covered by service agreements in Sweden and Norway, Vestas Service is the top provider of operations and maintenance services in the region. Supported by a team of more than 500 service technicians and professional staff, we are looking for our next leader to build on and further develop our leading position. Vestas Sweden & Norway is part of the newly established Nordic & Benelux Region, where collaboration across borders is key to delivering on our commitments to safety, employees, and customers. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Own regional service operations, ensuring contractual obligations are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Lead our safety-first culture, continuously improving safety performance and reducing incidents across the business Develop Operations and Customer Management teams, creating an organisation that pairs operational Excellence with deep customer engagement Maintain full P&L accountability, acting with an owner's mindset and taking responsibility for business performance and results Build strategic customer relationships and deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfaction Help expand the business while keeping Service a central contributor to Vestas’s long-term value and market position Qualifications We expect that you have: Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline Significant leadership experience within wind energy, power generation, industrial services, or heavy engineering Experience leading large operational teams across multiple locations Solid commercial and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility Demonstrated experience in customer-facing leadership roles Solid understanding of HSE leadership and operational excellence Effective communication and negotiation skills in English Competencies In addition to the qualifications listed above, we are looking for someone who is: An inspiring and visible leader who sets clear direction, builds engagement, and develops effective teams Customer-focused and solution-oriented, with the ability to balance customer needs and business priorities Structured, pragmatic, and execution-focused, translating strategy into measurable results An effective communicator, capable of engaging effectively with employees, customers, and senior stakeholders Resilient and versatile, able to guide through complexity and shifting business demands Collaborative by nature, building trusted partnerships across functions, regions, and global teams What we offer We offer the opportunity to manage the largest wind turbine service business in Sweden and Norway while serving in a key leadership role within Vestas NCE Service. In this role, you will be central to steering the business's direction, performance, and growth while leading a skilled team of professionals. Additional information The position is in Malmö, Sweden.
