## Description

Vestas' Global Service business was spun out as a separate business unit during 2014 due to the growing commercial and strategic significance of the service business. With our corporate strategy "Profitable Growth for Vestas" we have communicated specific, high growth targets for service in coming three years. To reach such targets while keeping our cost base steady requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally. The Global Service LEAN team is responsible for leading further our Service Business' continuous improvement and execution excellence culture. We manage the process for Strategy Deployment, work on establishing global concepts, and execute breakthrough improvements based on proven methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Responsibilities You will be part of a team of Lean Specialists in different geographical regions who constantly will work on increasing the Operational Excellence maturity of the Service business. Onshore and Offshore. While keeping high Safety and Quality standards, you will engage with Employees, colleagues and stakeholders globally to implement our Service Lean roadmap. The tasks you'll perform in your region will include to: * Continue to develop and execute the Service Lean NCE Offshore roadmap * Secure Lean tools deployment, lead Kaizens and assess training needs * Reduce operational costs through implementation Operational Excellence Projects and concepts in alignment with Global Transformation Plans and Cost-out bridges * Facilitate sharing of Offshore best practices globally Qualifications To be effective in this position, we expect that you have: * Academic degree Bachelor level or higher, *Minimum 12 years of Change Management (Lean) experience and a history of delivering improvements, *Experience within the offshore working environment * Manager experience Competencies At the personal level, you should be able to earn trust, persuade others, and communicate well with people. You got experience with change management/implementation. You also have experience implementing improvements based on value streams and communicating the next steps toward future state in a way that our technicians understand. Moreover, we expect following competencies: * Either certification or certified experience or education in continuous improvement disciplines, * advanced implementation and facilitation skills, * Ability to create impact & connect with our workforce, * Able to follow up in different countries (or areas within a country), * Advanced written/verbal presentation and communication skills in English, plus the main language in the country/region you work with What We Offer You will develop in a collaborative and global team in a global environment.
