Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. The Senior Financial Analyst, Controllership, SEC Reporting will support high-quality external financial reporting and controllership activities for DePuy Synthes. This role offers the opportunity to apply strong accounting and analytical skills to SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, and related controls while partnering across Finance to deliver accurate and timely reporting. As a senior-level individual contributor, this position provides the opportunity to independently manage complex work, identify opportunities to strengthen processes, and help build effective financial reporting practices. Key Responsibilities Support the preparation and review of SEC filings and related external financial reporting deliverables, helping ensure information is complete, accurate, consistent, and timely. Prepare and analyze financial statement information, disclosures, supporting schedules, and other documentation required for external reporting. Apply U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements to accounting and reporting matters and assist in researching and documenting technical accounting conclusions. Perform analytical reviews of financial results and investigate significant or unusual movements to support reporting accuracy. Maintain effective controls and documentation supporting financial reporting processes and contribute to a strong controllership environment. Partner with accounting, finance, tax, legal, and other stakeholders to gather and validate information required for external reporting. Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to reporting-related requests.
