We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who is excited to build generative AI products that customers use every day. You will design and ship features end to end, working across customer-facing experiences, distributed services, and the cloud infrastructure behind them. Experience with generative AI is a plus, but strong engineering fundamentals and a desire to learn quickly matter most. Key job responsibilities - Design, build, test, and deploy features for Amazon Quick, from customer-facing experiences to the backend services and infrastructure behind them. - Build highly available, scalable, and secure distributed systems on AWS. - Work with product managers, designers, applied scientists, and other engineers to turn customer needs into working software. - Own the quality and operational health of what you build, including testing, monitoring, and on-call. - Use generative AI tools in your daily work, and help improve the quality and reliability of AI-powered features. - Participate in code and design reviews, and mentor other engineers. You will work with a variety of languages and technologies, such as Python, TypeScript, and Java, on AWS. About the team Amazon values diverse experiences.
