Key job responsibilities - Design and implement software solutions that enable new features and improve existing systems, balancing scalability, maintainability, and performance requirements. - Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including product definition, scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support. - Write well-organized, maintainable code using optimal data structures and algorithms, and actively participate in code reviews to help raise the quality bar across the team. - Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers to understand business needs and deliver the right solutions, while mentoring other engineers on your team. - Evaluate opportunities to integrate generative AI tools and new technical approaches into your work, making recommendations to improve team productivity and software quality. A day in the life You'll start your day reviewing operational metrics and addressing any issues from overnight, then shift into focused development work on features that directly improve the customer experience. Expect to pair with teammates on design discussions, participate in code reviews, and occasionally lead deep dives into production issues to identify root causes and permanent fixes. You'll regularly connect with product partners to refine requirements and ensure your solutions align with both customer and technical needs.
