## Description

The Frontier ADC team delivers the AWS GenAI and Agentic AI service portfolio to customers in GovCloud and isolated environments. We expand Frontier AI services into new regions, automate service deployment and operations, and build solutions that meet the security, availability, and scale requirements of government customers. Our teams build and operate massively scalable distributed systems across services including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Quick, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Kiro. We are seeking a Software Development Manager who can think big, set technical and organizational direction, and build a high-performing engineering team. This leader will simplify complex problems while ensuring our customers receive a secure, reliable, and consistent experience. A successful Software Development Manager will lead a team responsible for building, launching, and operating Frontier AI services across GovCloud and isolated environments. They will work closely with Amazon’s largest and most demanding government customers, own the team’s technical roadmap and delivery commitments, develop engineers, and drive the resolution of complex technical and operational issues. They will partner across service teams, security, infrastructure, product, and operations to deliver solutions that address the unique requirements of these environments. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. You will establish a strategy for building and deploying solutions across multiple services and regions. You will create mechanisms that allow the organization to scale without scaling operational effort at the same rate. - Raise the bar.
