This position is not eligible for visa initiation or transfer either now or in the future. About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our CCIBT technology organization. This is an opportunity for an early-career technologist to build hands-on engineering experience while contributing to technology solutions that support complex business needs. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technology partners across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. You will gain exposure to enterprise-scale technology, strengthen your skills in a specific technical domain, and learn how engineering teams deliver secure, reliable solutions while operating within risk, compliance, and quality standards. This role is well suited for someone who is curious, collaborative, eager to learn, and interested in building a strong foundation for a career in technology and engineering. In this role, you will: Participate in the design, development, integration, testing, deployment and support of technology solutions for complex and challenging business requirements Understand Software Development Lifecycle process, quality, security and compliance requirements Support implementation of moderate to complex projects Develop skills in a specific domain with training Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal customers Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 1+ years of Java application development, spring boot experience 1+ years of PLSQL / Oracle experience Desired Qualifications: Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment Knowledge and Understanding of Agile Knowledge of AI tools like Copilot, Claude and Devin Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule Relocation assistance is not available for this position This position is not eligible for visa initiation or transfer either now or in the future Location: 401 W.
