Who we're looking for We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Software Engineer who consistently builds robust, scalable, and secure solutions with experience of the Seismic platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical craftsmanship with excellent engineering standards, an eye for detail, and a continuous improvement mindset. Exposure to the financial services industry is important. The candidate should translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions, apply best-practice engineering and DevOps disciplines, and show enthusiasm for innovation. They should be comfortable owning technical development from design through to production support. We are seeking an experienced with a proven track record of driving successful technology design and delivery. The ideal candidate should have high standards, an eye for detail, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong analytical toolkit. A deep understanding of the financial services industry is essential. The candidate should be able to influence senior stakeholders, deliver business value, and demonstrate a passion for innovation. They should be comfortable working in a pre-programme mobilisation environment as well as supporting analysis on in flight delivery programmes through to production . The candidate will have experience working with Seismic, Salesforce, and custom platform APIs and needs strong integration and backend skills. They should understand RESTful services, CRM data syncing, and event-driven architecture to keep sales and enablement content aligned. API & Integration Proficiency: Hands-on design and consumption of REST APIs, handling webhooks, and managing rate limits across third-party platforms. CRM Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce architecture, including data synchronization, user mapping, and embedding apps into Sales Cloud. Backend & Data Skills: Proficiency in a language like Python, C#, or Node.js, alongside database management (SQL/PostgreSQL) to audit and reconcile synced logs. Authentication & Security: Managing secure cross-platform authentication flows, token handling, and role-based access permissions About Us Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions.
