## Description

Come lead a talented group of SDEs as they build payment experiences for our Brazilian customers. You will lead a cross-geographical group of SDEs and TPMs across owning the end-to-end technical roadmap for Brazil Payments. You will work closely with Product, PBO, EMXO leadership, and external payment partners to deliver payment experiences that delight customers in one of Amazon's fastest-growing emerging markets. This is not a heads-down execution role. You will influence product and design leaders across core platform teams (Search, Cart, Checkout, Detail Page, Shopping Foundations) to make affordability and local payment method merchandising first-class features in the shopping journey. You will build credibility with senior leaders outside your org and drive alignment through the strength of your ideas and technical depth. You will think big. Brazil is our proving ground, but the solutions you build here (installment badging, BNPL integration, drop-off recovery nudges, local payment method optimization etc) should be designed as reusable frameworks that scale to other emerging countries across LATAM, MENA, and APAC, each with its own payment ecosystem and regulatory environment. You will build a culture of AI-native development. Not just using AI as a coding assistant, but rethinking how your team approaches architecture, testing, and delivery with AI at the center. You will build solutions where AI is a core component of the product (intelligent payment method recommendation, fraud-aware routing, personalized affordability etc.) and set the bar that your team wouldn't build it any other way. The right leader combines deep technical judgment, the ability to influence without authority, a passion for emerging markets, and the conviction that the best payment experiences should be built for the customers who need them most.
