Procurement is responsible for working with teams to contract indirect goods and services (non-retail). A role with Procurement Services is a chance to positively impact several key areas of Target’s business by: Promoting best practices across the entire company by developing deep knowledge and client relationships in each spend category Providing expert integrated business planning and stakeholder management for all indirect items and services Applying intelligent rate, demand and specification levers to source, negotiate and contract services while sustainably lowering costs Propelling the business with accurate and comprehensive demand forecasting, financial planning and item setup Changing the game for our internal online catalog end users by making the entire buying process faster and simpler Helping us cultivate Target’s partnerships with diverse, community-minded suppliers who are committed to economic development and job growth Primary Functions As a Sr Procurement Ops Professional, you will be accountable to support the Strategic Sourcing team with execution of Sourcing strategy. You will also drive and contribute to key enterprise initiatives. Your responsibilities would include: Based on sourcing requirements for a project, execute RFX events (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and auctions within agreed timeline Effectively plan and prioritize workload for timely and accurate delivery Support vendors by resolving their queries on event participation and conduct troubleshooting of technical issues faced by vendors Conduct on-boarding sessions for new vendors and support with system setups As an SME in Sourcing Services, train and guide Sourcing Leads and ensure adherence to the best practices and Standard Operating procedures. Build awareness amongst SSLs on the criticality of following process to ensure compliance Train new SSLs on Ariba/Coupa project management and sourcing optimization processes Create and maintain training documents and SOPs for new and existing processes Strive for continuous process improvement to achieve operational excellence Support reporting requirements for Strategic Sourcing team whenever required Be the primary point of contact for partners and collaborate with teams across the organization for projects and process requirements; support cross-functional projects to achieve process simplification and drive efficiency About You: 6 - 8 years procurement experience with record of increased responsibility and/or complexity Ability to think strategically with excellent quantitative skills Proficiency in creation of dashboards and reports (Greenfield, DOMO, Excel) Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for owing processes end to end by actively communicating with US partners Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in order to solve a problem Advanced systems knowledge of SAP - Ariba, Microsoft Office and other systems Know More About Us here: Life at Target : https://india.target.com/ Benefits : https://india.target.com/life-at-target/workplace/benefits Culture : https://india.target.com/life-at-target/belonging Target Tech : https://tech.target.com/
