Job Summary: This job delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). It involves advising management on project-level issues, guiding junior engineers, operating with little supervision, and applying knowledge of technical best practices. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles. Advises immediate management on project-level issues Guides junior engineers Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications : What you need to bring 5+ years of software engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go, with a track record of writing clean, testable, production-grade code, backed by a solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. Hands-on experience building and operating workloads on a major cloud platform (GCP or AWS). Experience building backend services and REST APIs in Python or Go, with a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and ORM tools. Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure services using CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes. Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
