This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Manager in the Engineering department. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to design, build, and deliver an innovative zero-trust cybersecurity product as part of the world’s largest cloud security platform. You will bring your vision and passion to our team of experts who are enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Partnering with Product Management to drive detailed product requirements Defining software design specifications and implementing bug free code using test driven methodology Looking for opportunities to refactor existing code in the interests of maintainability and reusability Collaborating closely with other cross functional engineering teams (security, UI, platform, analytics and quality assurance) Diagnosing complex customer issues and take ownership of issue resolution Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity, comfortably building the path forward in a dynamic environment and viewing complex challenges as raw material to construct meaningful solutions. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain 8+ years of software development experience in building large-scale applications using Python, Golang or C/C++ Hands-on experience with popular public cloud services infrastructure offerings such as AWS, GCP, Azure Good knowledge with cloud networking namely - transit gateway, IGW, NATGW, NACL, security groups, GWLB, ILB, Route53, Azure DNS Strong knowledge of Firewalls and Networking protocols What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience leveraging AI/ML models to automate identity threat detection, optimize access management policies, or enhance cloud security operationsn Strong distributed systems and SaaS development experience Familiarity with Identity management and authentication #LI-Hybrid #LI-RM6 At Zscaler, we are committed to
