In this role, engineers spend approximately 60–75% of their time coding, working hands-on with code, data, and modern tools (including AI-assisted development, cloud services, and automation frameworks) to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions that drive business outcomes in the fintech sector. They collaborate with cross-functional teams – product managers, designers, data scientists, QA, operations, and compliance – to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, all while adhering to best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements. All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work. Key Responsibilities Design, build/configure data replication schemas between HP NonStop mainframes and multiple open system (MS SQL Server, Oracle) database instances. Lead planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's data replication between unlike and like database products, using both unidirectional and bidirectional replication leveraging multiple features within the Oracle Golden Gate product suite. Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate Extract, Replicat, Trails, Manager, and Microservices components. Hands on experience on OGG23 MicroService in Open System environment Like Windows/Linux. Support HP NonStop Guardian and OSS environments, including application troubleshooting and performance tuning. Support NonStop file system with basic knowledge of NonStop tool like FUP, PERUSE, SQLCOMP, ENFORM, ENSCRIBE. Lead planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's data replication between unlike and like database products, using both unidirectional and bidirectional replication leveraging multiple features within the Oracle Golden Gate product suite. Assist with improvements to systems and tools and support development and implementation of new automation, asking questions as necessary. Engage with team members and manager during code/design reviews, participate in on-call rotations and incident responses throughout product development and operations cycles. Leverage working knowledge of systems/platforms and telemetry analyses to identify basic issues in code, processes, and designs when they are inconsistent with customer/business objectives. Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and support guides. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and operational standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements for project components and incorporate feedback into future designs or solution fixes. Translate business requirements by verifying assumptions and escalating potential design issues to appropriate stakeholders. Participate in system design and architecture, refining code plans and contributing to design documentation. Contribute to project estimation and escalate issues that may cause delays.
