In this role, you will act as the embedded business risk owner, accountable for proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating tax risks. You will also translate regulatory requirements into detailed program requirements, coordinate cross-functional delivery with tech, product, legal, tax planning, operations and other partner teams, and program manage regulatory changes from scoping through to execution. A day in the life You are joining a global team spread across the US, EU, Japan, and India. You will partner closely with Tax Governance and collaborate heavily with Risk teams to ensure Amazon's compliance controls are in the best possible working order. Your days will blend regulatory analysis, cross-functional delivery, seller experience optimization, and stakeholder coordination. One morning you are translating a new regulation into program requirements; the afternoon you are preparing materials for a senior leadership review.
