Job Summary: Enterprise Messaging & Collaboration Engineering owns the platforms PayPal relies on daily, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and the identity and compliance systems supporting them. Responsibilities include assessing apps, agents, integrations, and Slack Connect requests; managing defensible retention and export configurations; responding to service degradation; establishing architecture and platform standards; and building and operating the services and pipelines surrounding Slack—not simply configuring the platform.
