Job Summary: Responsible for the manufacturing assessment of non-conformities, late changes to support production, and supporting and identifying continuous improvement opportunities for the manufacturing process . Acts as the expert for the relevant operational area (i.e. Structures/Systems) and is responsible for the smooth implementation of new technologies. Directs and mentors new engineers by assisting with resolution of highly complex NCs and providing relevant training related to POA compliance and workforce upskilling. Provides oversight of rework work order generation for new and junior manufacturing engineers to ensure clear, concise and complete instructions for operations. Individuals are also responsible for management and investigation of production stopping/impacting disruptions in their relevant area to unblock production. Responds to technical questions and explains work orders/drawings, especially for aircraft mechanical related items. Establishes and maintains effective communications with FAL production.
