Job Description Visa's Digital Media Engineering team is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer, Collaboration Platforms & AI to help shape the future of Visa’s enterprise collaboration. This role combines systems engineering, platform ownership, AI enablement, and technology innovation to help drive the evolution of Microsoft Teams and related collaboration technologies across the enterprise. The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for evaluating emerging capabilities, developing platform integrations and extensibility solutions, advancing AI-powered experiences, and assist defining Visa's collaboration platform roadmap. While deep Microsoft Teams expertise is not required on day one, candidates should possess strong engineering fundamentals, technical curiosity, and a passion for improving workplace experiences through technology. This individual will help drive the evolution of Visa's collaboration platform ecosystem through AI-powered experiences, platform extensibility, operational intelligence, workflow automation, and emerging collaboration technologies to deliver innovative capabilities that improve how employees communicate, collaborate, and get work done. Key Responsibilities Serve as a technical and product subject matter expert for collaboration platforms, with a primary focus on Microsoft Teams and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Own and help define the collaboration platform roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance employee productivity, user experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes through emerging technologies and platform capabilities. Design and implement platform integrations, APIs, automation workflows, extensibility solutions, and custom collaboration capabilities that improve employee productivity and business outcomes. Develop custom Teams applications, workflow solutions, and platform enhancements that extend collaboration capabilities and address business needs. Partner with business and technology teams to identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and intelligent workflows across collaboration platforms. Partner with business stakeholders to identify, develop, test, govern, and deploy AI agents that automate workflows, improve productivity, and deliver measurable value across the enterprise. Establish lifecycle management and governance processes for AI agents, Teams applications, bots, and platform extensions, including intake, review, security assessment, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. Drive adoption of Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered collaboration capabilities, intelligent meeting experiences, and future workplace innovations. Define and implement observability, operational intelligence, analytics, and reporting capabilities that provide actionable insights into platform health, reliability, performance, utilization, adoption, and user experience across Microsoft Teams Rooms and collaboration services. Monitor industry trends, vendor roadmaps, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to help shape Visa's collaboration platform strategy and future-state vision. Develop proofs of concept, pilot programs, and innovation initiatives that evaluate emerging capabilities, validate business value, and inform the future collaboration platform roadmap. Partner with voice, events, and workplace technology teams to advance AI-enabled experiences across Teams
