About the Job : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stewarding Supervisor to join the Culinary team in Jumeirah Olhahali Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: To ensure that guest expectations are exceeded by providing an efficient, friendly and attentive service. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Stewarding team to ensure efficient and effective operations. Allocate duties and responsibilities to Kitchen Stewards according to business levels, operational requirements, and service schedules. Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities, cleaning schedules, safety requirements, and departmental updates to the team. Ensure all kitchen, stewarding, back-of-house, and assigned service areas are maintained to the required standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Supervise the washing, cleaning, sanitizing, and proper storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and other operating items. Ensure sufficient clean and sanitized equipment and utensils are available to support kitchen and F&B operations at all times. Monitor dishwashing and cleaning operations during busy service periods and provide support where required. Ensure all cleaning equipment and dishwashing machines are operated safely and maintained in good working condition. Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, stewarding areas, storage areas, equipment, floors, drains, waste areas, and other assigned facilities. Ensure daily, weekly, and periodic deep-cleaning schedules are completed correctly and within the required timelines. Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, sanitation, health & safety, and environmental procedures. About You : The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience within the same role. Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor, Senior Steward, or in a similar supervisory position within a hotel, resort, restaurant, or professional kitchen environment. Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, health & safety, and sanitation requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in English Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
