The successful candidate will report to the project Systems Engineering Manager and the Systems Functional Manager. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: · Prepare System Integration Verification Validation & Qualification activities · Management the Solution Integration Verification Validation & Qualification activities · Review requirements (particularly EMC requirements) to confirm testability · Define IVVQ strategy, establishes requirements related to IVVQ activities and perform associated estimates and schedule · Specify, choose and deploy methodologies (including metrics), tools/platforms necessary to conduct IVVQ and acceptance activities. · Propose IVVQ scenarios and manage their implementation · Coordinate IVVQ activities · Establishes priorities and report on risks · Perform or organise testing on the manufacturer’s site or at the customer’s premises or at an Environmental Test Facility. · Manage and support a trials team · Analyse results and produce technical reports · Work in a multi-discipline team · Provide guidance and support to a number of development projects Skills - IBM DOORS (Vs 9.3 (or later)) · An understanding of the fundamentals of Systems Engineering, Design, Verification and Validation Be self motivated and capable of working alone and within teams · Have good written and oral communication skills to allow effective communication with peers, and both technical and non-technical customers. · Produce documentation with clarity and precision. · Methodical and organised approach · Experience of working in an IVVQ environment Experience: Essential A proven record within a systems engineering environment Experience of generating tests cases to verify systems EMC Desirable Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification for military environments EMC/EMI Optronics & Missile Electronics (OME) We enable forces to gather timely, meaningful information so they can make thoughtful, decisive choices that safeguard communities.
