As a Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, you’ll be responsible for translating long-term business vision into executable enterprise-wide inclusive talent acquisition strategies, serving as a critical advisor to senior leaders and executive stakeholders to hire high-impact leaders who are building the future of financial technology. We’re looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Senior Manager to accelerate Capital One’s market position as an employer of choice with a particular focus in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Data Science, Applied Research, and Machine Learning. In this role, you’ll partner closely with executive leadership to influence strategy, modernize recruiting operations, and empower high-performing recruiting teams. Roles and Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor, aligning inclusive talent solutions directly with business objectives Establish accountability frameworks to deliver on complex, high-priority technical hiring events Establish disciplined execution frameworks, clear accountability models, and cross-functional hiring event enablement to reliably deliver complex, high-priority return on investments Partner with senior executives to deliver transformative talent acquisition strategies Consult talent acquisition teams to source, attract, and hire world-class AI and technical talent Leverage data-driven insights to optimize pipeline strategies and solve complex hiring challenges Drive cross-functional initiatives that cultivate a culture of excellence, elevate the candidate experience, and bolster recruiting enablement Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all talent channels and hiring practices We recognize that many life paths can contribute to interest in this role. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification At least 5 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting OR a combination of the three At least 4 years of experience in Client Management At least 2 years of people management experience Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree or MBA Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification 7+ years of experience in HR strategy or 7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or a combination 7+ years of experience in Client Management 5+ years of experience in People Management 2+ years of experience with data analytics and reporting tools (i.e. excel, Tableau) 3+ years experience in strategic development This role is designated as a hybrid position. You are expected to adhere to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at your designated office location.
