About the role: Samsara’s Customer Education is looking for a creative Senior Instructional Designer. You’ll be part of an energetic team that will play a key role in Samsara’s growth and our customers’ long-term success. Learn more below! This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area. You’ll also work closely with a program manager who prioritizes the team’s quarterly roadmap, and you’re comfortable juggling multiple projects at once. You’re excited about how learning is built now: You like to experiment with new tools, AI-assisted authoring, and faster development models, and you’re energized by iterating quickly rather than perfecting slowly. You’ll help shape how our team scales content across on-demand courses, video, in-app learning, live sessions, and certifications. You are the architect of your own career: Our Customer Education team is still shaping its future, so you’ll have real autonomy and ownership. You’ll own the learning journey for a product area, starting with Safety, and can grow as the team and product portfolio grow. In this role, you will: Work with stakeholders across the company to define training requirements, learning goals and user needs for both customers and partners Craft and build learning & credentialing experiences in different formats (online learning, audio, video, in-app, etc.), working within the constraints of different templates and business requirements Leverage a wide range of tools (AI-based content authoring, multimedia) to develop content rapidly and iteratively Push yourself and the team to evolve and improve upon our processes, and to discover and test new instructional development models and tooling Solicit reviews from partners and SMEs, and review others’
