Job Details If you’re a methodical, process-driven leader with a passion for casualty claims, we want you to join our team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, the key responsibility of this role is to lead a team of junior to intermediate claims advisors, modeling quality service and encouraging them to reach their full potential. As Team Manager, you will: Provide leadership through coaching and timely feedback as their primary support. Mentor colleagues for questions relating to bodily injury claims processes litigation/court procedures Lead weekly huddles, and Provide operational, financial, and risk management oversight. As a valued member of our Casualty Claims Team, your work will involve a range of complex issues and the following accountabilities: Make an Impact: Lead a team that handles casualty claims, including motor vehicle and occupiers' liability claims Provide ongoing feedback on team and individual objectives; identify team members with leadership potential to facilitate development opportunities Ensure advisors acquire and improve relevant competencies through coaching; participate in their development plans and conduct thorough one-on-one reviews Supervise casualty claims advisors who support clients; promote clear action plans and file management while maintaining compliance standards Monitor, understand and be accountable for the business results of the unit including core, retention, and financial results Participate in the recruitment process to ensure quality candidates with diverse skills and experiences Experience Growth: Remain current in case law, legislated regulatory changes, and recent settlements which impact bodily injury claims Contribute to cross-functional or enterprise initiatives as an organizational or subject matter expert to identify risk or provide guidance for complex situations (e.g., Human Resources, Recruitment,
