Job Description: Job Title: Technology Management Lead, VP Location: Mumbai, India Corporate Title: VP Role Description Deutsche Bank is seeking an experienced Technology VP to lead the provision of IT services to the DBAG franchises in India. The role sits within the Global Technology Infrastructure reporting into the India Head of Branch Technology and will be based out of Mumbai. The individual will be expected to oversee the continued modernisation of the Bank’s IT infrastructure and local application platforms whilst maintaining a strong control over risk and regulatory portfolio and financial performance of the department. What we’ll offer you As part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you’ll enjoy Best in class leave policy Gender neutral parental leaves 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral) Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and education Employee Assistance Program for you and your family members Comprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependents Accident and Term life Insurance Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above Your key responsibilities Be accountable for the provision of technology services, within budget, at industry-leading standards to the DBAG India Work closely with local, regional and global executives to support technology strategy and aggressive business growth Inspire, supervise and oversee the development of technology staff in Mumbai Partner with local and regional technology leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement new technologies and infrastructure in India Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop best strategies to support India franchise growth from technology perspective Analyze the current technology infrastructure and ensure that DBAG India operations comply with internal risk and control standards plus Indian and global banking regulations and laws Support Head of Branch Technology : To represent IT service delivery at local and regional Stakeholders and Operating Committees To ensure the optimal allocation and utilisation of technology resources To establish clear operating model for the department with explicit roles and responsibilities between team members To establish the IT department’s operative goals and objectives To ensure the stability and security of the business’ IT assets and services undefined Actively engage with the other Asia country technology leaders Your skills and experience Qualifications: Bachelors Experience:15 years + Languages: English: Speak / Write Fluently Must have: A solid understanding of technology in an enterprise context, spanning; infrastructure, end user and application services, cloud hosting and AI Deep knowledge of financial services business principles and banking operations Extensive experience working in technology in leadership role and/or business roles within a company Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders from both business and regional / global technology functions understand business needs and develop strategies to support it Has experience of, and can talk with nuance about People development and management and building high performing teams IT strategy and current industry trends Software delivery practices Data management Solid knowledge of India banking regulation with respect to IT services IT Change and Transformation delivery - keep programs and projects spanning multiple infrastructure areas IT service management Non-financial risk and cyber-threats Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
