JOB SUMMARY The therapist is responsible for administering expert massages, face and body treatments to guests, VIPs, and press and has a methodical knowledge of several massage/therapy modalities. To deliver exceptional treatments to guests of the spa in line with ESPA and Hotel brand standards, whilst maintaining excellent five-star client care, cleaning standards, and grooming is a key part of the role. To learn the product and service protocols and standards to efficiently provide wellness solutions to meet the requirements of guests. To be responsible for revenue generation through retail, selling, and cross-sales to other business centers in the spa. Assist the Head Therapist in ensuring that all operational and administration procedures, codes of conduct, and standards are adhered to by therapists. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Achieving retail sales targets set by the Spa Director. • Making aftercare recommendations post-treatment. • Encouraging clients to return and cross-selling other spa services. • Participating in demonstrations/events. • Performing treatments for VIPs, journalists, and audits. • Maintaining cleanliness, sterilization, and hygiene of equipment and areas. • Conducting in-depth consultations with clients. • Using correct product quantities and maintaining stock levels. • Following treatment room procedures and reporting maintenance issues. • Providing outstanding guest service and recording guest preferences. • Reporting guest complaints promptly. • Supporting spa attendants and maintaining personal hygiene standards. • Covering reception and spa attendant duties when needed. • Adhering to training and organizational policies. • Maintaining spa area cleanliness and compliance with regulations. • Attending briefings and training sessions. • Training team members on services and products. • Being knowledgeable about resort facilities and services. • Flexibility in working hours. • Motivating and training therapists. • Representing the spa and hotel as ambassadors. • Setting an example in professionalism and standards. • Evaluating and adding small touches for guest experiences. • Recording training sessions and attendance. • Keeping updated with daily bookings and changes. • Ensuring confidentiality and data protection. • Acting responsibly regarding personal and colleague safety. • Supporting cleanliness and hygiene in spa facilities. • Reporting any issues promptly. • Communicating effectively within the team. • Adhering to health and safety standards. SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT • Fluent in English written and spoken, and other languages a distinctive advantage. • Prior education and Diplomas as aesthetician and body therapist. • Three years of professional experience in Massage Therapy. • Thorough knowledge of the human body, anatomy, and physiology. • Previous experience in a five-star Resort/Spa (minimum 2 years). • To have a broad understanding of massage therapies, and face and body treatments. • To possess
