## Description

Amazon LEO is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. This role will be to lead a time to conceive, design, analyze, execute, and commission custom assembly tooling and test equipment for both satellite development and production. Key job responsibilities - Lead the tooling and GSE team to efficiently develop creative design solution for high volume satellite manufacturing. - Work with vehicle, manufacturing, integration and operation teams to rapidly define and conceive solutions to unique problems. - Apply extensive knowledge and experience guiding, directing, and motivating teams. - Develop and manage standards for design, analysis and documentation. - Manage team tasking, project workload, and project priorities, including overall team schedule and budgets. - Hire and develop requisite talent to ensure the team can meet Amazon LEO's demand. This is a team of engineers and support technicians to provide in-house unique and creative solutions. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
