ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Transportation Associate Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, Ca. In this role, you will be responsible for helping solve parking deficits and commute options for our growing company . You will bring scalable, high-impact strategies paired with people-first service delivery . This will require m anaging multiple moving pieces without losing sight of smart decision-making. WHAT YOU’LL DO Day-to-Day Operations of Shuttle and Parking Programs: Oversee daily parking, EV charging, and shuttle operations across Southern California campuses. Coordinate with the shuttle vendor to ensure on-time performance and adjust schedules to meet fluctuating commuter demands. Conduct regular audits of parking staff and shuttle operations to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with local transit regulations. Manage the ticketing queue for employee commuter requests, parking issues, shuttle feedback, and transit inquiries. Transportation Project Planning & Execution Assist with transportation projects (e.g., parking lot re-striping, EV charger installations, new shuttle route launches, and commuter fairs) from initiation to completion with minimal disruption to daily operations. Coordinate logistics , communications, and vendor activities for special campus events requiring dedicated shuttle service, valet, or traffic control. Ensure minimal disruption to employee commutes during road construction, lot maintenance, or inclement weather events by coordinating detour logistics . Track vendor performance for shuttle service providers and parking management companies and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met. Maintain regular, transparent communication regarding transportation updates (delays, route changes, construction) with employees, stakeholders, and the broader Facilities team. Track ridership and parking data to generate regular progress reports, utilization metrics, and carbon-reduction documentation. Provide Support in Other Functions Provide operational support for the wider Facilities and Campus Operations team as needed. Drive continuous process improvement in commuter programs, route efficiency, and parking space utilization . REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience managing shuttle operations, parking logistics, corporate commuter programs, or fleet coordination. Experience with transportation technology (e.g., shuttle tracking apps, parking management software, EV charging platforms) is a plus. Strong project management skills with a proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent transit/logistics projects. Excellent communication, organizational, and rapid-response problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, to support transit operations and events as required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management tools or space/transit management software is a plus.
