Our Geothermal Turnaround team plays a critical role in keeping those operations running safely, reliably and efficiently. They bring together people from across Maintenance, Operations, Projects, Reservoir and our contractor partners to plan and deliver complex turnarounds across our geothermal assets. It’s detailed, highly coordinated mahi, where great planning, accurate information and strong relationships can make a huge difference. Te āhua o te tūranga | The nature of the role As our Turnaround Coordinator, Master Data, you’ll sit right at the centre of planning our geothermal turnarounds. Based at Wairakei, you’ll bring together people, plans, schedules and SAP data to help make sure the mahi is properly scoped, resourced and ready to go well before execution begins. You’ll work closely with our Turnaround, Maintenance, Operations, Projects and Reservoir teams, as well as third-party scheduling partners, creating one clear picture of what needs to happen, when, and by whom. There’s real variety here. One day you might be working through SAP plant maintenance data and auditing work orders, the next you could be challenging a critical path, coordinating scheduling resources or working through late and emerging work with the wider team. You’ll help drive consistency in how we plan, schedule and manage turnaround work, while keeping safety, efficiency, quality and cost front of mind. Ultimately, your mahi will help our teams head into each turnaround with confidence, knowing the detail has been thought through and the plan is ready to deliver. Ko wai koe | About you You’re someone who enjoys making complex things simpler. You can see the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture, you’re comfortable bringing different groups together, and you’re confident enough to challenge a plan when something doesn’t quite stack up. You’ll ideally bring significant planning and scheduling experience from power generation, heavy industry, process plant or another complex maintenance environment, along with a strong understanding of SAP plant maintenance and what good turnaround or outage planning looks like. For this one, proven experience developing and delivering detailed maintenance plans and schedules is important, as is practical knowledge of plant maintenance or operations and the ability to build strong relationships across technical and operational teams. Experience around mechanical plant, rotating equipment, electrical plant, control and protection systems or steam turbines would be a real advantage, as would inventory management or contract supervision experience, but we’re not expecting you to arrive knowing absolutely everything.
