## Description

What you’ll be doing: Strategic business partnering: Provide financial insight and recommendations that support decision-making across Retail Banking. Planning and performance: Develop financial strategies, business plans, budgets and targets, and monitor performance against them. Reporting and analysis: Manage monthly accounting and reporting, prepare insightful commentary, and analyze P&L, balance sheet and cash flow performance. Profitability and commercial insight: Assess client, product and segment profitability, conduct deep dives and identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization and improved performance. Financial modelling: Build detailed models to evaluate business scenarios and their potential financial impact. Product support: Evaluate the financial viability of new product launches, manage relevant amortization processes and prepare product-level P&L reporting. Executive reporting: Contribute financial inputs to Group Management Committee packs and prepare Retail Business Review packs. KPI management: Track and report financial and non-financial KPIs relevant to Retail Banking. Governance and compliance: Maintain alignment with financial regulations, reporting standards and internal policies, and liaise with auditors, regulators and other stakeholders. Leadership and systems: Mentor the finance team and oversee financial system or technology implementations in collaboration with IT. Benchmarking and alignment: Conduct industry and peer benchmarking and align Retail Banking priorities with bank-wide financial goals. What we’re looking for: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field. Professional certification such as CMA, CPA or CFA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar finance business partnering role within banking or financial services, preferably supporting Retail Banking and with UAE market experience. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and Retail Banking products and services. Experience interpreting complex financial information and translating it into clear, practical business insight. A strong understanding of the Retail Banking market, regulatory environment and competitive landscape. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical thinking, financial modelling and commercial acumen. Strategic thinking with a focus on revenue growth, cost optimization and risk mitigation. Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with proficiency in financial management and ERP systems. Cross-functional collaboration across business, product, sales, marketing, risk, operations and technology teams. Leadership, coaching and team-development capability.
