The Basics:
At Tanium, our Customer Success Interns have the opportunity to learn valuable, real-world experience from the world’s leading customer success organization - responsible for helping the largest organizations on the planet achieve unprecedented visibility and control over the most complex environments in the world. Operating in a highly collaborative team environment, interns will work closely with an assigned 1:1 mentor and other interns on a summer project contributing to our team’s success. A Customer Success Intern can look forward to partnering with senior team members to support customer value realization and use data and qualitative feedback to decide how best to engage resources to drive desired results.
This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX
The hourly rate for this internship is $27.00. This hourly rate is an estimate for what Tanium will pay an intern. The actual rate offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an hourly rate, interns will be eligible for 401k matching and a monthly allowance for communications reimbursement.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure successful business outcomes for customers that lead to world-class retention and expansion for Tanium by collaborating with an account team of Sales, Solution Engineers, Domain Architects, and more
- Work with senior team members to understand the unique complexity and segmentation of the customers Tanium serves and create the best path to full Tanium platform adoption and expansion, leveraging your understanding of not only the customer’s environment but also insights as to how to overcome obstacles to implement new technologies
- Identify where Tanium can be further integrated into customer business processes and controls to increase ROI and expand into new solution areas
- Support strategically focused Executive Business Reviews, alongside Sales, Solution Engineers, and wider account team members
- Work with senior team members to build, manage and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers and partners
- Undergo detailed training in the Tanium platform with the opportunity to become Tanium certified
- Collaborate with your mentor and other interns
- Own a project designed to support our Customer Success efficiency and effectiveness
- Train in top-quality customer-facing sales and presentation skills
- Shadow our full-time Customer Success Managers in their day-to-day operations
We’re looking for someone with:
- Availability to work full-time from June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027
- Undergraduate student currently enrolled in a college or university
- Eligible graduation dates: December 2027 or Spring 2028
- GPA of 3.5 or above
- Able to demonstrate consulting and project management skills
- Able to demonstrate working knowledge of endpoint technology
- Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Skilled at written and verbal communication
- Naturally team-oriented with a mission-first attitude
- Excited to learn new technology
