The Engineering Technician will provide technical support for Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) activities involving DDG51 Class ships. This role supports the development and implementation of technical requirements for newly constructed U.S. Navy surface ships following construction and pre-trial events. You will work closely with Navy stakeholders, project managers, hull managers, and engineering support organizations to coordinate waterfront activities and resolve technical requirements. The position combines hands-on knowledge of shipboard equipment with planning, testing, technical coordination, and status reporting. Frequent travel to major waterfront locations will be a core part of the role, with both on-site and remote responsibilities.
