This leadership role sits within a global engineering organization focused on modernizing electrical grids through advanced automation, protection, and control technologies. You will lead a high-performing team of protection and control engineers responsible for developing innovative solutions across the full product lifecycle. The role combines deep power systems expertise with people leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on technical direction. You will help advance software-defined automation, digital substations, renewable energy integration, and model-based engineering approaches. Working across hardware, software, product management, and external research partners, you will ensure protection and control capabilities are seamlessly integrated into next-generation grid technologies.
