Outpatient Coding Consultant

This role is ideal for an experienced and credentialed outpatient coding professional who wants to contribute to accurate, high-quality healthcare data from a fully remote environment. You will review medical records, assign and sequence diagnosis and procedure codes, and ensure coded information accurately reflects clinical documentation. The position combines detailed coding expertise with communication, quality assurance, and customer-focused collaboration. You will work across complex outpatient coding scenarios while maintaining high accuracy and productivity standards. The role also offers opportunities to support documentation improvement, education, auditing, and process quality. Success requires strong medical terminology knowledge, sound judgment, organization, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
