Senior Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in Canada.

This role provides senior-level financial and accounting support within a national finance function, combining financial reporting, analysis, general accounting, and process improvement. You will support Finance Directors and Senior Finance Managers while providing guidance and technical oversight to a Financial Analyst. The position covers monthly and year-end close activities, financial statements, budgeting, audits, cash and investment analysis, and regulatory reporting. You will also contribute to SAP administration, internal controls, and initiatives that improve financial processes and operating efficiency. Working with corporate services, senior management, auditors, banking partners, and other stakeholders, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate and reliable financial information. This is a full-time remote opportunity for candidates based in Nova Scotia, with occasional on-site attendance in Halifax as required.
