Software Development Engineer II - Backend

This role offers the opportunity to build core infrastructure for a global commerce and payments platform designed to operate at exceptional scale. As an SDE II, you will design and develop foundational services covering subscriptions, payments, reconciliation, tax, invoicing, and more. Your work will help ensure transactions are accurate, traceable, resilient, and secure across a multi-tenant ecosystem. You will work primarily on greenfield initiatives with limited technical debt and close collaboration with Product and Design teams. The environment emphasizes ownership, speed, engineering excellence, and continuous iteration. You will work with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, cloud infrastructure, and modern observability practices.
