Sr Broadcast Technician

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Broadcast Technician based in Canada.

As a Senior Broadcast Technician, you will join a professional broadcast engineering team responsible for keeping critical studio, transmission, and digital broadcasting systems running reliably.
You will provide hands-on technical support to on-air teams, internal staff, and remote users across a variety of broadcast environments.
The role combines installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of studio automation, digital audio and video, and AM/FM transmission systems.
You will also contribute to capital projects, technical planning, site documentation, and the coordination of broadcast technicians.
This position offers a dynamic environment where technical expertise, calm problem-solving, and customer focus are essential.
You will work both independently and collaboratively, with opportunities to support evolving broadcast technologies and infrastructure.
The role also includes rotating after-hours on-call responsibilities, occasional travel, and hands-on work with professional broadcast equipment.
