Call Specialist - Carle Direct

This part-time role supports a healthcare transfer center by coordinating communication related to patient transfers, admissions, and care logistics.
You will serve as an important point of contact for patients, providers, clinics, hospitals, and internal care teams.
The position combines customer service, administrative coordination, patient registration, and timely information management.
You will work closely with nurses, bed placement teams, administrators, providers, and case management staff.
The role requires accuracy, professionalism, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a healthcare environment.
After completing 8–12 weeks of onsite training in Champaign, the position transitions to a work-from-home arrangement.
The schedule includes evening work and alternating weekend and Monday shifts.
