Key Result Areas:
Manage strategic projects and strategic alignment of high-risk projects that fall under the CCO’s mandate
Support the management of various organizational development projects across the division to ensure organizational effectiveness
Manage and steer CCO external and internal stakeholder management and communications
Support directorates to communicate proactive strategic opportunities, project results, updates and knowledge transfer that can help shape divisional strategies
Lead special projects & other senior management tasks on behalf of the senior manager, Communication Delivery Manager, Executive Directors & stakeholders, ensuring strategic direction of briefs is line with leadership directives and QF-wide strategic objectives
Lead quarterly reporting on behalf of CCO Division through alignment with departments to track progress and challenges via liaising closely in all cross-directorate conversations
Steer the creation of CCO materials for leadership updates (e.g. HH/HE, N-1s), stakeholder presentations or other occasions as required
Define project parameters (including project objectives and timeline) as per the given strategies and projects as required on behalf of the CCO
Create and distribute project briefing and/or initiate the project, steering as required
Align CCO briefs with other departmental and divisional project priorities to include strategic alignment between CCO Division and other divisions
Act as an interface between CCO Office, CPO and CEO Office to ensure logs are updated and questions answered. Create and distribute the minutes of weekly Strategy Board meetings & CCO meetings as required
Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Advertising, PR, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Business Studies or any other relevant field
6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience in communication planning within an agency, corporation, organization or the media
Experience in storytelling-driven environments preferred (e.g. Newsrooms). Track record in delivering successful communication projects to large-scale organizations (non-profit, corporate, media setting)
Specific knowledge of communication planning, trafficking and project management systems
Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to personal, team and budget deadlines. Ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyses findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office applications
