How this works

  • Rules, not a model. This checker looks for the names of AI tools and skills in your text. No AI model runs, so it is free and instant. Job ads on Level are scored more thoroughly (about half of them, 23,720 of 47,032 on 21 Sept. 2026, have also been reviewed by an AI model), so your result and a listing’s level can differ by one level.
  • Nothing is stored. The text you paste is held in memory for this one request and discarded once the result is shown.
  • The market number is measured live. The share of same-category live postings at the same level is read from our database when you submit the form, dated.
  • Up to 20,000 characters of pasted text.

This is a text match against fixed rules, not a hiring decision or a certification: a posting that never names an AI tool or skill can still score Little AI even if AI is used informally, and rare synonyms can be missed.
