We are seeking a Maintenance Planning and Services Coordinator who will play a critical role in ensuring operational continuity through the effective coordination of maintenance planning, procurement strategies, contractor management, and SAP master data integrity. This role partners closely with Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure preventive maintenance activities, planned shutdowns, spare parts availability, and external services are executed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
The ideal candidate brings technical maintenance knowledge, strong planning and coordination capabilities, and experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments. This person is proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and skilled at balancing operational priorities while supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do for Us
• Coordinate annual, quarterly, and monthly maintenance plans, ensuring preventive maintenance activities and planned shutdowns are properly scheduled and supported with required contracts, quotes, work orders, purchase orders, and spare parts.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production Planning teams to organize maintenance schedules that reduce operational interruptions and maximize equipment availability.
• Manage the planning, execution, and administrative closeout of external maintenance services in alignment with SAP processes and company requirements.
• Act as the key liaison between Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Production, and suppliers to align technical requirements, purchasing activities, and service execution timelines.
• Translate technical maintenance requirements into clear commercial specifications to support Procurement with accurate sourcing and purchasing decisions.
• Monitor the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process by following up on open purchase orders, tracking approvals, and resolving administrative bottlenecks that could impact maintenance execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, services, and spare parts through proactive communication and coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Create, update, and maintain equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs), maintenance task lists, material master data, and spare part records in SAP to support maintenance reliability and planning accuracy.
• Support the configuration and performance of MRP processes for maintenance materials and spare parts to ensure availability and inventory optimization.
• Supervise contractor performance through KPI monitoring, contractor evaluations, periodic reviews, and compliance verification with Coca-Cola safety standards and permit-to-work procedures.
• Verify contractor adherence to critical safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work, and work-at-heights requirements before maintenance activities begin.
• Manage maintenance service contracts, ensuring timely renewals, service level agreement compliance, and coordination with Procurement and Legal teams on contract updates and administration.
• Monitor maintenance service expenses against budget expectations, analyze cost variances, identify optimization opportunities, and support annual maintenance budgeting activities.
• Participate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment failures, reviewing maintenance history, supporting Root Cause Analysis, and helping implement preventive and predictive maintenance actions.
• Collaborate in the implementation of predictive maintenance strategies using monitoring systems, sensors, and maintenance data analysis to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Propose process improvements and cost-saving opportunities based on KPI analysis and operational performance data without compromising safety or product quality.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with food safety, quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as Integrated Management System requirements and applicable ISO standards.
• Participate actively in food safety, sustainability, safety, quality, and environmental programs while promoting a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
• Identify and escalate critical deviations, operational risks, or unsafe conditions that could impact food safety, product quality, employee safety, environmental compliance, or business continuity.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance coordination, manufacturing operations, or related areas within a production environment.
• Experience working in manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer goods, or industrial operations environments is preferred.
• Working knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience using SAP for maintenance planning, master data management, procurement coordination, work order management, and material management activities.
• Understanding of maintenance spare parts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), MRP processes, and maintenance task lists.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance activities and industrial equipment systems.
• Familiarity with contractor and vendor management processes, including service coordination, KPI tracking, and compliance monitoring.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and manufacturing operational standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, quality, environmental, health, and safety standards within an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 is preferred.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to resolve conflicts, facilitate alignment between stakeholders, and support operational decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Intermediate English proficiency to support communication with SAP users, suppliers, contractors, and regional stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, process compliance, and operational excellence.
• Ability to work in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and production areas while supporting maintenance execution activities.
