Join Amazon's People eXperience & Technology (PXT) team as an HRP Business Analyst I, turning complex workforce data into insight that shapes fair, evidence-based people decisions across EMEA. If you love building dashboards, automating reporting, and working at the intersection of data and people, this is your role.

You will be the primary analytical resource for the EMEA HRP, Labour Relations, and Employee Relations community, partnering with stakeholders from team managers to senior leaders.

Translate large, sensitive HR datasets into clear, actionable insight
Support workforce restructuring, statutory, and Works Council reporting
Grow your SQL, Python, and AWS skills in a supportive, high-bar environment

Key job responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines supporting HRP reporting and analytics across EMEA, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
Develop and own dashboards in Amazon QuickSight, including dataset management, calculated fields, and the ongoing accuracy of reporting outputs.
Translate complex workforce data into clear presentations and written analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
Identify and automate manual, repetitive reporting processes to reduce operational burden and improve speed and consistency of delivery.
Provide analytical support for workforce restructuring programmes, including headcount modelling, redundancy analysis, and statutory consultation timelines.
Support ERB and Works Council statutory reporting with accurate, timely, and audit-ready outputs.
Manage and deliver ad-hoc analytical requests from HRP, Labour Relations, and Employee Relations teams within agreed timelines, documenting methodology.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the EMEA PXT data estate, identifying gaps and working with technical partners to strengthen infrastructure.

A day in the life
You start by checking dashboard refreshes and triaging incoming analytical requests from HRP, Labour Relations, and Employee Relations stakeholders. Your day blends writing and optimising SQL queries, building QuickSight visualisations, and automating a recurring report to save the team hours each week. You join a stakeholder call to walk senior leaders through workforce trends in plain language, then dive deep into a data quality question before it reaches a report. Throughout, you validate outputs against sources of truth and document your methodology so any peer can rerun your work. Your customers are HRP teams and the employees whose data you handle.

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science, or Associate's degree or above
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience working with large, complex data sets
- Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with Python or R
- Experience in Amazon Redshift and other AWS technologies
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau
- Experience analyzing HR data and translating metrics into actionable workforce strategies
- Experience with regulatory filings and reports or equivalent
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in academic or professional settings
- Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
