Bus Station & Infrastructure Intern (m/f/d)

This internship supports our Bus Station team in ensuring FlixBus coaches can access every stop across the Italian and European network. You’ll coordinate permits, documentation, and station requirements while working closely with municipalities, local police, and bus partners. Ideal for someone detail‑oriented, proactive, and excited about the mobility/transport sector.

📍 The role at a glance:

• Location: Milan Office
• Duration of the Internship: 6 months
• Working Model: Hybrid, 2-3 days of office presence is mandatory
• Start date: Ideally in October or depending on the candidate's availability

About the Role

• Support the Bus Station team in preparing and obtaining all the necessary documentation related to the stations in order to correctly access to all the stops of the entire FlixBus network, working collaboratively with different teams as network planning, traffic control, operations, and business development
• Work with European Bus Station colleagues to handle all permit requests for foreign lines to access Italy and vice versa
  
• Liaise with municipality clerks and local police officers through phone calls and emails, and you will handle any requests/emergencies related to every kind of stop changes
• Learn how to use the Company's tools for creating new stops, alternative stops, downloading passenger lists, downloading timetables, and checking all lines currently in operation
• Prepare the documentation relating to both permits for the Restricted Traffic Zone and license plates to be sent to the stations and airports, as well as the relevant digital data entry
  

About You

• Enrolled student (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Political Science, Architecture, Economics or related studies, or new graduate
• Italian (native speaker level) and fluent in English; any other European language is a plus
• High accuracy and precision attitude
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly motivated in achievement and the entrepreneurial drive to develop our business independent, reliable and responsible working style
