The Position
Business Analyst - Strategy & Governance - RDT Diagnostics Business Operations
As a Business Analyst in Strategy & Governance, you will help build a frictionless operational foundation that seamlessly translates high-level digital strategy into flawless, value-driven execution across Roche Diagnostics.
At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events.
Description of the area:
RDT DIA Business Operations is the strategic engine driving frictionless, value-driven execution across RDT Diagnostics. Operating under a "Minimum Viable Governance" mindset, the team manages shared operational capabilities across four key pillars:
- Strategy & Value Governance: Co-developing functional roadmaps, decision frameworks, and divisional KPI scorecards.
- Finance & Workforce Mgmt: Driving financial transparency, budget stewardship, and dynamic resource allocation.
- Operational Intelligence: Delivering automated, platform-native dashboards to enable evidence-based executive decision-making.
- Transformation & Delivery Excellence: Orchestrating cross-functional programs, service delivery governance, and continuous process improvement.
You will co-develop long-term roadmaps, design governance forums, and build KPI frameworks to support evidence-based decision making for the RDT DIA leadership team.
The opportunity:
- Scope: Proactively designs and implements 'Minimum Viable Governance' frameworks that eliminate administrative waste and accelerate decision-making velocity, while preserving strict regulatory rigor.
- Accountability/Problem Solving: Leads the analysis of business problems, performs thorough domain research, and drives root cause analysis. Champions an 'outcome-over-output' operational mindset. Accountable for defining outcome-driven metrics (OKRs) and automated operational dashboards to eliminate 'watermelon reporting' and support executive decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Acts as a true 'Catalyst' (VACC) across the complex RDT DIA matrix, bridging global strategic design with localized realities. Proactively aligns cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Quality & Regulatory, Global Operations, and Commercial domains.
- Impact/Strategy: Delivers impact that ensures functional strategies and digital solutions directly align with the broader 'OneRoche' enterprise strategy and RDT goals.
- Business / Technical ability: Demonstrates deep understanding of the Diagnostics business domain, ensuring that all strategy and governance initiatives align with strict healthcare regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis / Consultancy experience, with specific expertise in designing strategic governance forums, long-term roadmaps, or portfolio management frameworks.
- Proven experience independently managing end-to-end BA workstreams, navigating ambiguous requirements, and evaluating strategic solution options.
- Demonstrated experience in translating requirements into strategic implementation plans that align with overall business objectives.
- Strong proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation, ensuring comprehensive requirements traceability and consistent change management.
- Strong proficiency in operational performance tracking, KPI framework design, and translating complex financial or portfolio data into actionable executive insights.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, resolve conflicts, and define stakeholder engagement strategies across functional areas.
- Applies Roche's VACC Model and Creative Leadership principles (Systems Awareness, Authenticity) to build psychological safety, role clarity, and a high-trust working culture within the team and broader Community of Practice (CoP).

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 170,100.00 PLN - 315,900.00 PLN. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 15% subject to both individual and company performance.This position also offers an attractive benefits package.
