Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Namibian citizen;
  • Persons with disabilities and individuals from previously disadvantaged designated groups are strongly encouraged to apply;
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting would be an added advantage;
  • Candidates must have 1–2 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in Caseware will count in your favour;
  • Strong Accounting and Mathematics knowledge;
  • Ability to process client information accurately;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks;
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI).

Duties

  • Preparation of annual financial statements in Caseware;
  • Process adjustments in Caseware;
  • Preparation of internal budgets and fees;
  • Finalisation of administrative functions with regards to completion of annual financial statements.
