The Position
Driving sustainable impact
Our responsibility extends beyond innovation. You'll contribute to solutions that improve healthcare by addressing the most pressing health challenges and diseases with the highest social burden, while reducing our impact on the planet. Together, we create a healthier workplace, society, and future for generations to come.
The Opportunity
The Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Technical Expert builds and supports secure authentication and identity integrations across applications. This hands-on role combines software engineering with deep troubleshooting: diagnosing login failures, tracing issues across systems, and restoring reliable service. Prior experience with a CIAM platform is useful, but strong engineering and authentication skills are the core requirements.
Responsibilities
Accountability/Problem Solving
- Design, build, test, and maintain authentication and identity integrations across frontend and backend applications.
- Troubleshoot complex login, session, token, API, and account issues in development and production. Reproduce failures, examine logs and system behavior, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.
- Write maintainable code and technical documentation, and review changes for security and reliability.
Stakeholder Management
- Work with application engineers, security teams, product owners, and external partners to resolve issues that span multiple systems.
- Explain findings and technical options clearly, coordinate incident resolution, and share knowledge that helps teams solve recurring problems.
Impact/Strategy
- Improve the security, reliability, and usability of authentication journeys across products and channels.
- Develop reusable approaches to API integration, token handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Support safe releases and use lessons from production issues to prevent repeat failures.
Who you are
- Strong software engineering skills, particularly in JavaScript and API integration, with experience in Java and AWS.
- Practical knowledge of JWT, session management, and authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Substantial hands-on experience troubleshooting production applications and integrations, including using logs and diagnostic tools to trace issues across frontend, backend, and external services.
- Experience building or integrating secure login and account management flows.
- Able to take ownership of technical problems from initial investigation through resolution and follow-up.
- Experience with CIAM platforms, particularly SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAP CDC), is a plus.
