Position Summar:
As the General Manager for the UAE, you will act as the primary driver of Cisco's go-to-market strategy, orchestrating cross-functional teams within a matrix environment to achieve business growth and operational excellence.

- We serve as a vital component of the Gulf Levant Region, chipping in directly to cluster strategy development and execution while representing Cisco in the broader marketplace.
- The team is comprised of diverse, high-performance individuals working within a dynamic, matrixed environment that values collaboration and customer-centricity.

Your Impact
- Lead and inspire the Country leadership team to define strategic objectives and budgets that directly address client demand and problems.
- Drive the overall sales motion and forecast accuracy to ensure consistent, predictable bookings growth across the entire Cisco portfolio.
- Lead operational excellence by implementing end-to-end sales methodologies to improve funnel reliability and lead generation efficiency.
- Cultivate strategic government and executive relationships to identify and assemble new revenue streams and increase market share.
- Lead the UAE Country Leadership Board to champion employee engagement, community, and compliance, ensuring we continue to be a premier workplace.
Minimum Qualifications
- Significant experience leading large-scale sales organizations within the technology industry.
- Consistent track record at an executive level running significant P&L and ownership of a large sales quota.
- Demonstrated experience selling B2B enterprise technology to both public and private sector clients in the UAE.
- Consistent track record of building or handling software and services businesses, including driving a lifecycle approach.
- Relevant qualification in IT or business management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adept at leading extended teams through organizational change and business model evolution.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to spot market opportunities early and plan accordingly.
- Established personal network of CXO-level business decision-makers and key government influencers.
- Challenger mindset with a high sense of urgency and the ability to influence effectively in a matrix organization.
- Experience in building collaborative, cross-functional relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
